Q: If I have a PDF of my artwork why do I have to pay embroidery set-up fees?

A: A PDF file is an artwork file.  An artwork file needs to be translated into stitch format in a stitch file.  The process involves assigning stitch types in the correct density and order to elements in the artwork.  Because this is not an automatic process, there is an embroidery set-up fee which is sometimes know as a digitizing fee.

Q: I need an embroidery design for different polo sizes ranging from toddler to adult 4X.  Can my design be resized for those sizes?

A: Most embroidery designs can be resized 10% to 20% depending  on the design.  Some designs cannot be resized without redoing the design.  Most likely your design can be adjusted to accommodate very small and extra large sized polo shirts.
