Have questions about the embroidery process?
Can the background in my artwork be removed so it isn't part of the embroidery set-up? Yes. The white background, can be removed so it won't be embroidered on your polo shirt.
Can my embroidered logo have different colors than in my artwork? Yes. You can change the colors but make sure you see a proof before your order is embroidered. Your proof should show the polo color as the background color.
How can I make sure the correct colors will be used or my embroidery set-up? Provide the PMS (Pantone Matching System) colors and your embroidered logo colors will match as close as possible. If you can't provide the PMS colors then request to see an embroidered swatch before your shirts are embroidered.
Can a photograph or existing polo shirt be used as artwork? Usually not unless the design is very simple and the photo is very clear and taken from directly above the design.
Can I "grab" my artwork from the internet? No. Even if you have the rights to use that artwork the file resolution will be mostly likely be too poor.
Buying the cheapest polo shirts may not be your best option even if you have a tight budget. Many of the least expensive logo shirts are promotional grade shirts which aren't designed to be washed and worn many times. If you need shirts that will last at least one season its more cost-effective to purchase a better quality shirt.
