Are All Cotton Polos Made From The Same Type of Cotton?
No, there are different types of cotton fabrics. Here are some types:
- Combed ring spun cotton - a process that removes the short cotton fibers. The remaining long fibers are arranged in a parallel arrangement to form a high-quality yarn that's fine, strong and uniform in color. The K420 / L420 polo is made from ring spun cotton.
- Cotton interlock - is a soft, durable and breathable double-knit material. It's constructed by interlocking two layers of fabric, resulting in two identical layers of fabric with smooth surfaces on both sides.
- Ring spun cotton - cotton that made from longer fibers. The Port & Company ring spun cotton T's, PC150 / LPC150, are made from this type of cotton.
